Wow, been a while since I really posted anything of substance. Well, let's see what's going on......
Rehearsals are in full swing for SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL. I am really beginning to take to the role of an elephant who thinks he's alone in the universe. Ah, I love gay theatre.......
The job? Gotten better. Some changes in the hierarchy. I can breathe again.
Greatest website EVER for dead celebrities.....and man, we lost some good ones this year.
I ran into the ex on the train about 3 weeks ago, and the irony was immediate since this is where we met in the first place. It went amazingly well. He's grown up a lot, but still has that wicked sense of humor I so adore in a person. When we did get together for cocktails, we toasted to never dating each other again (he referred to it as "the failed experiment"....which I guess it was) One suitcase less for me...
Saw an excellent production of THE CHILDREN'S HOUR at TimeLine. My friend Aaron and I, both stag, sat together. Beautiful show.......
Just returned from an entire week at my Mom's in MI. Greenest Xmas EVER (somewhere, I hear Al Gore laughing). I usually go home for 4 days....wow wow wow. That being said, Granny was great. She's 100 1/2 and still kicking. Well, not KICKING, but her sense of humor and her appetite shine on. She actually looked better than she did when I was home in October for my mother's 70th.
As the year comes to an end, a thought - IS ANYONE ELSE READY FOR THIS FUCKING YEAR TO GET LOST? I mean, yes, I had some amazing events and theatrical experiences...oh yeah, and MYSPACE.....but come ON.........
